So my new journey into the world of internet blogging is beginning. I should say that this is something very new and very scary as I am taking the first steps into the blogging community.
Now first things first.. I should introduce myself! Or I could just start talking about books already? Oh wait.. No I won’t.
So here goes…
My name is Jo and I love.. absolutely love to read! Although I should say that love is definitely an understatement. Reading has always given me a space to relax and get away from the world outside. I was introduced into reading at a young age, always visiting the town library and taking books home or spending time in the school library in amongst the shelves looking for new stories to unfold. I could always remember carrying stacks and stack of books home, only to sit down and read a full book before dinner.
To me, reading always came before dinner or schoolwork and this became a constant way to enjoy myself over the ongoing years of my life.
I always found that if I was unsettled or upset, I could find a book and a spot to reach and lose myself within the pages. When I find myself bored or in need for some relaxation, I can always be found with a book or my E-Reader in my hand. It doesn’t matter whether I’m happy, sad, angry etc, a book is always there for me to get lost in the pages.
So I figured, what better way to share my love for reading than to share it with other readers alike.
