So picture this. I am lying in my bed in the quiet, next to my partner who is dead asleep. I have my E-Reader in my hand, with pages of a book open. It is now 11pm at night and this book has been open since midday today.

Now this book, is a book that you won’t want to put down. Or that you can’t put down.

Not only have I tried to do this multiple times, but each time I put this book down, I just picked it right back up again. Now you can understand why instead of sleeping; I am here reading in the quiet and darkness.

Some people aren’t a fan of young adult romance and that’s okay. But if you are; than give this book a try!

Amy is such a brilliant character to be introduced into a storyline. By using daily or past struggles that some individuals may be dealing with in society today, Melody Anne is able to make this story more realistic and more in-dept. As soon as you pick up the book and begin to read, you can clearly see a picture that is introduced using these life struggles and the characters and a storyline that immediately connects with your emotions. Throughout the book, I am constantly going through a variety of emotions, that I feel makes Amy more enjoyable, intriguing and more realistic.

Not only did I enjoy the character Amy, But I also enjoyed the character Lucas. I mean, who wouldn’t want a billionaire hunk who takes care of them daily. At the beginning, it may seem like the character Lucas, is a bit of a jerk. But once you get your heart involved into the storyline and you begin to love Amy and Lucas, you start to understand where Lucas is coming from.

I mean, in modern society, would male individuals really force you into a marriage? No. Unless this is a cultural tradition that is heard of in diverse countries, but usually, this is unknown. So when Melody Anne introduces this into the storyline, you can understand why Amy would get a bit emotional and angry. But as I am keeping in mind that this book is Fictional then I do believe that sometimes, authors use these types of scenes or dialogues to create a more dominating male character. Then again, it’s always nice to have a male live to take care of you and who loves you.

However, we all have our own opinions, and the opinion that you make in this book is completely your own. I think I have also given away quite a lot of the storyline without you actually reading the book. So that is why, if this review interests you, then find a cosy warm spot with a blanket and some hot chocolate and enjoy some romance action.

Just know, that I absolutely fell in love with this book and I know that every time I go to read a Melody Anne book, I know that I can find a quiet spot to read and lose myself in the pages.

Love x
