As a bestselling author, you would think that Mark Edwards would write a great book… And that’s what he did!

The book begins with a visual of a mother and her daughter going to school or doing their own daily routine. Nothing out of the ordinary right? Well not true… Years before hand, the mothers sister passed away. Now Mark tells the story that this tragedy was caused by the sister, Isabel, falling off a balcony. However, as a reader, I continuously got the the feeling that this wasn’t the case and throughout the book, the daughter (Olivia) and the mother (Jessica) are tested emotionally and mentally as they work towards finding out what happened to Isabel.

Now at first, I was a bit skeptical when the book introduced ‘Isabel’s spirit’ and although it was in fact entertaining, I found it a bit disappointing. I felt that this then dragged the story on and made it more longer than necessary.

However this didn’t distract that overall, the book was a great read. I felt that each line in the book tested my emotions and what I felt as I found out different things that the mother Jessica did in the story.

Anyway enough about the story, it’s time you found out what happened on your own!

Love x
