From the moment I began to read this book, I was hooked. I honestly don’t think that this book deserves five stars, rather more like ten stars.
At the beginning of the book, Reader’s meet Natalie, who is a detective at the police station who tends to crimes in local areas. Now the part that begins to get you hooked is when you learn about her job and what she does. You learn about her back story where she had previously worked in a missing child’s case and the child had never been found.
Now as you start to read through the chapters, you learn about Ava Sawyer, a child who went missing, and now her body has been recovered after two years. It’s Natalie’s job to find out what happened to Ava. Unfortunately that isn’t all that Natalie has to do when she learns that there is more to the story.
I definitely don’t want to spoil the story so you will have to read it for yourself but I can safely guarantee a great read. Not usually do I find a book that I struggled to put down.

For the entire book!!
Not until about 30 pages until the end of the book, in which do you find out what happened, why it happened and who did it and it definitely was not who I was expecting!
